Meena, I tried to add the URLs to these inspirations https://openideo.com/open/voting/inspiration/a-gerontological-approach-new-york/ and https://openideo.com/open/voting/inspiration/my-voice-my-vote but when the Update published, it did not appear.

In fact, that was one of the strongest elements as I recall. That by having an option to express preferences, the voting experience would be facilitated for all voters. It is not necessary to think of this as an accommodation for voters with disability, but rather a facilitation for "express voting" for everyone.

This is actually one of the ideas that received focus from the January face to face workshop. It seemed that nearly every concept that emerged could benefit from some aspect of a user-created self profile that would help make the voting process conform to specific voter needs. Some good concept detail is available here http://elections.itif.org/projects/design-workshops/concept-express-voting/

Dear Sharron

It was a pleasure of reading your post.

I am Cheng Zhang, a master student from London School of Economics (LSE).

As I am writing a dissertation on OpenIDEO, can I send you a questionnaire for you to answer in about 10 days time?

I can see that you are an active participant, and I am really interested in finding out more about people like you.

If you do not have time it is totally understandable too! If you are interested, could you please send me an email to michael_528@hotmail.com ? Or you can tell me your email here;).

Best regards and many thanks

Cheng Zhang
