"“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense”"
I discovered OpenIDEO as I started working in fall 2010 on a research project on open innovation with one of my colleagues at NYU.
My research interests are:
- Organizational communication, including discourse analysis, discursive practices and technology-mediated communication.
-Socio-material practices, including the affordances of material artifacts and the influence of space.
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration, including design and art.
On top of the research project, I decided to start using OpenIDEO as the team project for the design thinking class I was teaching. It's been a lot of fun and I have two "good reasons" (research and teaching) to spend time on OpenIDEO! :-)
PS: the quote is from Churchill. One of my colleagues and friends at INSEAD sent it to me a long time ago and I printed it and kept it in my office. :-)
